About Me

Greetings! I'm Paul, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience specializing in Information Technology. My journey began with a strong foundation, having earned the CompTIA A+ certification, and since then, I've continually evolved my skills and knowledge.

IT Expertise

My expertise spans a wide spectrum, including extensive experience in installing and configuring operating systems. I take pride in my hands-on approach, particularly in the realm of computer hardware. Having earned the CompTIA A+ certification, I've been building computers for over two decades, staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

My Journey in IT

I embarked on a journey to deepen my understanding of server infrastructure, successfully completing the Microsoft Certification for Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012. Unfortunately I was not able to sit for the exam due to the policies of the college I attended online, the knowledge and skills acquired during the course have helped me to gain knowledge into servers.

A Blend of Skills

My unique blend of skills, combining a solid foundation in IT with practical experience in computer assembly and server configurations. During the course of my studies in Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 I was able to solve a complex problem by finding a work around for achieving the required outcome.

Continuous Learning

Though I haven't had the opportunity to further my knowledge in IT I still keep up with what is happening in the world of IT through reading though my interest these days is in quantum computing and the quantum internet.

I have my thoughts on the subject that quantum networks require a complete digital connection via fibre and old connections like copper cabling need to be completely retired as the demand for faster Internet connectivity is on the rise.

Connect with a Technology Enthusiast

My blog is about writing articles that anyone of all skill levels can enjoy reading. Many years ago I did tutorial step by step blogs on how to do things in Windows for example clearing the temp folders and prefetch folder.

I'm hoping to be able to write these kind of blogs again though because of the limitation of my processor not being supported by Windows 11 all I can do is write these blogs on Windows 10.

My overall goal is to create informational blogs that are of value to everyone from beginner to intermediate to advanced users.
